Valentine’s Golden Terraces Seniors Co-op Housing, Valentine’s Day is a time to honour love, kindness, and community. For many of our Moncton residents, this holiday isn’t just about romance — it’s about recognizing meaningful connections and celebrating togetherness.

Every February, we decorate our building with hearts, flowers, and shades of red and pink. Residents enjoy sweet treats, music, and themed activities that brighten the winter season. From card-making sessions to afternoon socials, our co-op creates a warm space where everyone feels appreciated.

Heartfelt Moments Shared by All

Valentine’s Day at Golden Terraces is filled with joy. Seniors participate in decorating the lounge, writing kind notes to neighbours, and enjoying homemade desserts. The event encourages both long-time and new residents to connect through conversation and shared experiences.

Volunteers often prepare crafts and help organize group games, trivia, or music afternoons. These activities are not only fun — they build community and reinforce the co-op spirit. Everyone contributes, and everyone belongs.
